Kwara: Abductors of clergyman, aides demand N53m

The abductors of three persons in Agbeku community in Ifelodun LGA of Kwara State have demanded a N50 million ransom.

The victims who were abducted on Saturday night are Reverend S.B. Oladunni, Chairman of ECWA Igbaja DCC and two others. 

The traditional ruler of Agbekuland, Oba Abdulazeez Shola Agboola, who confirmed the ransom demand in a telephone interview with journalists on Monday, said police investigation was ongoing to get to the root of the saga.

He said, “While a N20m ransom was placed on the reverend, N30m was placed on the woman and N3m on the third person.”

Meanwhile, our correspondent gathered that three suspects were arrested on Sunday by the police in connection with the incident.
