Kwankwaso urges Air Peace to expand to more cities

A former governor of Kano State, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has lauded Air Peace for its outstanding service and warm hospitality during his recent flight from Lagos to London.

Kwankwaso, who commended the entrepreneurial spirit of the Air Peace chairman, Allen Onyema, further urged the airline to expand its flight operation to cover more cities.

During the Lagos-London flight, the ex-governor commended the “wonderful takeoff, smooth landing, and of course, a very comfortable environment” and recommended the airline to fellow Nigerians and international travellers.

Air Peace, which recently began operating its Lagos-London route, has received numerous positive reviews from passengers.

Kwankwaso, who recently boarded the airline encouraged other Nigerians, and even non-Nigerians, to consider Air Peace for their travels, saying the airline is not just a national pride but a formidable competitor on the global stage.

He called on Air Peace to invest in more robust marketing efforts, emphasising that many people are still unaware of the airline’s international services.

He expressed confidence that with greater publicity, more passengers would choose Air Peace for their travels.

He further suggested expanding the airline’s routes to include more cities across Nigeria, specifically Abuja and Kano, where he believes there is high demand.

“In Kano, we have many passengers that will be very happy flying this airline,” he said.

It would be recalled that in 2019, Air Peace airlifted 475 students sponsored by Kwankwaso’s Kwankwasiyya Development Foundation to Dubai and India for postgraduate studies, further cementing the relationship between the airline and Kwankwaso.
