The post further shows a picture showing to his right his Supervisor, Prof. Gaurav Saini, from his left, Prof. Rameshwar Adhikar of Tribhuwan University, and his external examiner, Kathmandu Nepal among other distinguished professors, during the successful final viva presentation.

Politicians, especially from Kano including the incumbent governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, have a number of times bragged about their academic achievements, signalling how they are ahead of Kwankwaso academically.

Meanwhile, politicians like the current Commissioner for Rural Development in the state, Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, who is from the same town with the former governor have been making fun of Kwankwaso’s doctoral degree, describing it as ‘mai bracket’, meaning, PhD in bracket.
