The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has said Mr Ben Kure and Barrister Iro Ahmed remain its chairman and legal adviser respectively in Kaduna State.
The state publicity secretary of NNPP, Colonel Albehu Dauda Gora (rtd) had on Tuesday said Kure and Ahmed were sacked from the party over anti-party activities.
But the party’s national chairman, Dipo Olayoku, in a statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna yesterday, urged the general public to disregard what he described as the “purported removal of Ben Kure.”

He also urged NNPP’s supporters in Kaduna State and elsewhere to remain calm, and desist from any action capable of truncating the party’s chances in the 2023 general elections.
Responding to the action taken by the national headquarters, the Kaduna State secretary, Major Yahaya Shinko said, “We stand by our position.”
