The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested one of the Kuje prison escapees on his way to Kano State.
According to the police, the escapee was arrested on July 17 at about 7:30 pm.

The state police public relations officer, DSP Muhammed Jalige, said in a statement that the escapee, one Ali Shuaibu, 60, an indigene of Kano state was apprehended by the police operatives at a location in Kaduna.
“The suspect said he was part of the inmates who escaped during the recent attack on the Kuje medium security correctional center,” the statement read.
