The chairman of Kuje Area Council of the FCT, Abdullahi Sulaiman Sabo, says the council has approved the construction of township roads within the Kuje metropolis.
Sabo disclosed this on Saturday through his principal private secretary, Abdullahi Sabo, when he led officials of the council’s works department on an inspection tour of some ongoing projects in the area.

He said among the approved road projects are the Anguwar Gede and Damakusa bypass, noting that the bypass had been in a dilapidated state due to the heavy downpour in the area.
“The council chairman promised to execute road projects to open up more communities and ease the movement of people,” he said.
The chairman, however, said the contractor would be mobilised to the site to commence work this week.
