Sources from the state ministry of education told our correspondent that the principals, apprehended in their respective schools have been summoned to appear before a five-man panel set up by the government to probe their role during the conduct of the examinations.
The state’s Commissioner for Education Sylvester Onoja, who inaugurated the panel Thursday, said the principals were caught when members of the state executive council supervised the conduct of the examinations across the state. Onoja said that the suspects whose identities are yet to be revealed would be given fair hearing at the panel, stressing that any of them found guilty would be sacked.
