The acting Chairperson of Kogi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Mrs Hassana Jezhi Bako, on Wednesday, flagged-off free medical treatment at Kpareke community in the area.
Mrs Jezhi, while speaking at the event, said the free medical outreach was aimed at enabling people in the rural areas to have access to free medical treatment.
The chairperson, therefore, called on the people of the community to come out to avail themselves of the opportunity.
The Ohinoyi of Kpareke Chiefdom, Alhaji Abdullahi Salihu, commended the state government for the choice of his community for the flag off of the outreach.
The monarch, therefore, called on his subjects, especially those with related health challenges, to take advantage of the free medical outreach to come forward to free treatment.
