The Chairman of Kogi Local Government Council of Kogi State, Alhaji Isah Abdulkarim Sani, has urged the newly recruited police constabulary of the community policing to be dedicated in the discharge of their duties.

Sani made the call when he hosted a contingent of the newly recruited police constabulary officers who are indigenes of the area in his office yesterday, after they returned from their four weeks training in Ilorin, Kwara State.

The chairman congratulated them on the successful completion of their training, and urged them to uphold truth and justice without fear or favour while discharging their duties.

“And more importantly, you all must to be law abiding as you take up the challenge of protecting the lives and properties of the people of Kogi local government, which is your primary function, “ he said.
