Kogi State Government has said there will be disruption of water supply for five weeks to residents of Lokoja, the state capital and its environs in order to repair damaged pipelines.
The Commissioner for Water Resources, Abdulmumuni Danga, disclosed this Thgursday in Lokoja.

He said there would be a major repair on the damaged major pipeline supplying water from the main source at the greater Lokoja Water Works in Ganaja area at the bank of River Niger to the major reservoir at the heart of the capital city. The commissioner said the repairs could be best carried out during the dry season.
