Four staff of BN Ceramics company have been killed in a motor accident on Ajaokuta-Itobe road in the early hours of Wednesday.
Daily Trust gathered from dependable sources that the accident, which involved a bus and a sedan car, occurred at about 9.45 am on Wednesday.
According to an eyewitness account, both vehicles were involved in a head on collusion when the driver of the bus overtook another vehicle in a sharp bend.

While confirming the accident, the Kogi State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Mr. Solomon Agure, said three staff of the BN Ceramics company died out of nine staff in the company’s vehicle.
According to him, the workers of the company were returning from work after a night duty when their staff bus conveying them had head on collision with another vehicle resulting in the death of four staff.
Those that were injured were taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the management of BN Ceramics, in a statement issued on Wednesday, regretted the death of some of its staff who were involved in a ghastly auto accident.
According to the statement signed by Salihu Mohammed, Human Resources Manager, on behalf of the management, the accident took place within the steel complex this morning around 10:00 am, lamenting the loss of four BN staff.
“The Management condoled with the family of those who lost there lives, assuring that the management was making frantic efforts to rescue and put the medical bills of those injured.
“The Management used the medium to call on motorists to drive safely and check their speed limit while driving within the steel complex,” the statement added.
