Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello is not infected with COVID-19 virus his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed has said.
The clarification is coming on the heels of online reports that the governor has been tested and confirmed positive to the virus.
Muhammed noted that the report that the governor tested positive to the dreaded virus was false.
“The Governor, members of his family and close aides have not shown any symptom of COVID-19 virus and are all in good health condition.
“Bello called on all citizens to observe social distancing, exercise and maintain high level personal hygiene”
“The Governor prayed and wished those that have tested positive to COVID-19 disease, the Almighty Allah’s healing balm and speedy recovery,” Muhammed explained.
