KNSG vows to improve standard of education

Kano state government has reiterated its commitment to improve the standard of the tertiary education in the state.
This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Higher education, Dr. Muhammad Tahar Adam (Baba Impossible), while addressing the leadership of tertiary institutions in his office.

Dr. Adam added that the present administration under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, is committed to solving all the lingering issues especially the settlement of casual staff allowance, provision of adequate accommodations and lecture halls after the national elections.

The commissioner commended the leaders of the all tertiary institutions for their commitment in uplifting the standard of the institutions.

The leaders of the tertiary institutions at the meeting included the Rector, Kano State Polytechnic, Provosts of Sa’adatu Rimi College of education Kumbotso, Aminu Kano College of Islamic and Legal studies as well as College of Arts Science, Tudun wada.

Others were Provosts of Audu Bako College of Agriculture and that of Kano State College of Education and Preliminary Studies.
