A resident of Moromti village, Mustapha Umaru, also confirmed that the villagers fled their homes in Moromti to a safe place.
“We heard gunshots and even the villagers came to Moromti to pass the night yesterday and in the morning when they went back, all their goats, chicken and rams have been carted away by the insurgents
“They also took some new clothes from the village. They equally went away with seven bicycles and looted food items,” Mustapha said.
