Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State says he has approved the employment of security men to man public schools in the wake of cases of kidnapping in the state.
Abiodun stated this when he received members of the House of Representatives Committee on Basic Education, led by its Chairman, Prof Julius Ihonvbere, when they paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.

He underscored the need to take proactive measures on the security of the school environment against the abductors who were on the prowl.
