Kidnappers of Kogi LG chair’s aides demand N100m

The kidnappers of some aides of the Chairman of Kabba/Bunu LGA of Kogi State, Mr. Dare Zacchaeus, have demanded a N100 million ransom.

It was gathered that Mr Zacchaeus, who was kidnapped along with his aides, was abandoned on the way by his abductors after he collapsed.

A farmer was said to have picked him up from where he was abandoned in the bush.

The state’s police spokesman, SP Williams Aya, confirmed the release of Zacchaeus, saying effort was being intensified to ensure his aides were rescued.
