Kidnappers have reportedly killed a hunter known as Odonkoro from the Ufa community, Igarra, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State while searching for kidnapped victims.
One of the kidnappers who disguised as a passenger waiting for a vehicle was later arrested by vigilantes.
The hunter went with his colleagues and the local vigilante to comb the forest around Igarra and neighbouring communities with a view to rescuing kidnapped victims and arresting the kidnappers when the incident happened.
Recall that five persons were last week kidnapped along Farm Road in Igarra and one of them was released after paying an undisclosed ransom.

He said they later got to their camp where they recovered some items including a phone without battery, sim card and cooked and raw food.
He explained that the kidnapper who disguised as passengers waiting for a commercial vehicle along the Igarra-Ibillo road was caught and handed over to the police.
