The Commander of the corps, Adetunji Adeleye, who disclosed this on Wednesday while parading 45 suspects arrested for different crimes in the state, said his men were able to rescue the gang member after breaking into the den of the syndicate in Akoko LGA.
He explained that, “In our effort to bring them out, the kidnapper that already confessed was macheted in several places by his fellow kidnappers who wanted to cover up their crimes. The officers of the corps rushed the kidnapper to the hospital and he was treated.
