The recently abducted Vice Principal (Academics) of the Government Secondary School (GSS), Yebu in Kwali Area Council of the FCT has been set free by his abductors who however are still holding the exams of the school abducted alongside the vice principal.
City & Crime had reported that kidnappers in the early hours of Wednesday invaded staff quarters of GSS, Yebu, and whisked away the vice principal and the exam officer.

A teacher in the school told our reporter through telephone on Sunday that, “The vice principal was freed on Friday evening after a ransom was paid, while the exam officer is still in captivity as they are demanding for his own ransom separately.”
The FCT Chairman of Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Comrade Stephen Knabayi, and the Kwaita branch Chairman of NUT, Comrade Abubakar Sheriya, could not be reached for comment on the development.
Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply to an SMS on the development.
