The police in Ogun State have arrested a 52-year-old suspected kidnapper, Christopher Yaro, in the Ago-Iwoye area.
The Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alamutu, told newsmen in Abeokuta that Yaro was involved in the kidnapping case of two reverend fathers in Pankshin LGA of Plateau State and fled to bOgun State and hibernated with a cousin in Ago-Iwoye town.
Alamutu said he was subsequently arrested and confessed to having committed the crime.
Alamutu said, “Further details would not be released for now to prevent jeopardising further investigation.

“Meanwhile, the Plateau State command has been contacted and it was confirmed that the suspect is on the police wanted list.
“Suspect will be handed over to the Plateau State command for further discreet investigation and prosecution.”
