The Kogi State Police Command has said all the kidnapped victims of God is Good (GIG) Motors and ABC buses have been rescued from the hands of their abductors.
The Kogi State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP William Aya disclosed this in Lokoja on Thursday.
“I have just been informed by the DPO that all the kidnapped victims of God is Good Motors and ABC regained their freedom”, he said in a text message.
However, the police command did not disclose whether a ransom was paid or not before their release.

However, an unconfirmed report had it that one of the kidnappers was killed in the course of trying to free the kidnapped victims by the security operatives, hunters and vigilante group.
Gunmen abducted the passengers in the two buses last Saturday along Ogugu-Okpo road in the Olamaboro Local Government in Kogi and whisked them into the bush, demanding N15 million.
