The abducted son of a Fulani leader, Likita Hussaini Ardo, has been found dead in Kagarko Forest in Kaduna State
A resident of Kagarko, Ibrahim Musa, said Likita was abducted by bandits on Tuesday night a few meters away from Kagarko town.
He said the victim, who was a commercial driver, was returning from Gwagwalada market in the FCT when his vehicle broke down around 9pm a few meters to Kagarko and that the bandits emerged from the bush and whisked him away.
He explained that, “Just some metres to Kagarko town, his vehicle broke down and he decided to rush to buy spare parts and was returning to fix it when bandits appeared and whisked him away.”
He said his corpse was found on Wednesday afternoon in the forest by a farmer, adding that it was retrieved and buried.
There was no response from the spokesman of the Kaduna State Police Command on the incident.
