Kidnapped Bauchi polio worker escapes

The  immunisation officer kidnapped by gunmen recently in Darazo Local Government Area of Bauchi State has escaped from his captors. Bauchi State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed, disclosed this while speaking with newsmen. “Information at our disposal revealed that the kidnapped polio health worker, Ali Garba, has   escaped from his captors. Investigation into the matter is still ongoing,” he said. The family of the polio worker confirmed the report to Daily Trust.
