An abducted pastor of ECWA church in Kuje Area Council, FCT, Rev Yohana Joshua and two sons of a former secretary of the Local Education Authority (LEA), Bulus Danladi, have regained their freedom.
The abducted sons of the LEA scribe are Felix Bulus Danladi and Victor Bulus Danladi.
City & Crime had reported that gun-wielding kidnappers last week abducted the pastor and also invaded the residence of the former LEA secretary in Godoji village, Kuje Area Council and abducted his two children.
The former education scribe, Danladi Bulus, who confirmed the release of the pastor and his two children over the phone, said an undisclosed amount was paid as ransom before the victims were released last Friday night.
He said the victims were released at a forest bordering FCT and Nasarawa State, adding that foodstuff, drugs and drinks were also presented to the kidnappers before the release of the victims.
“But we give glory to God that they are back home,” he said.
He said the victims were taken to a private hospital for medical check-up because of the trauma they passed through in the hands of their abductors.
The spokesperson of the FCT police command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply to SMS sent to her about the release of the victims.
