The spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, says Seyi, the son of the party’s presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has spoken to him about his father’s health.
Keyamo, who doubles as the Minister of State of Labour and Productivity, said Seyi told him Tinubu was sleeping when they spoke on the phone on Thursday morning, adding that the former Lagos State Governor was hale and hearty.

The minister, who disclosed this during an interview on Arise TV on Thursday, said it is not mandatory for Tinubu to issue statements about his health and whereabouts as he is not the President.
He said, “He’s hale, hearty and healthy. He’s out of the country for a number of days. No controversy, about his whereabouts. And he’s not a president to issue statements as to his whereabouts. And I spoke with his son this morning. I spoke with Seyi and he said Asiwaju is fine. He was sleeping.”
Keyamo added that Tinubu would premise his campaign on the APC achievements, his leadership record as a former governor of Lagos and manifesto.
