Over fifteen teams from across the country are gearing up for the Keffi Polo Charity Polo Tournament which gallops-off next week at the Keffi Polo Ranch in Keffi, Nassarawa.
Staged annually in the ancient city of Keffi, a huge chunk of proceeds from the prestigious polo fiesta is channeled to support charities.
Polo Royals also reliably gathered that the polo loving Nassarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdulahi Sule stated that the state was proud to host and support the Keffi Ranch and its choice sport of polo as a way of showcasing the state to the world.
Keffi Polo Ranch Proprietor, Honourable Aliyu Wadada told Polo Royals that Keffi Polo Ranch project has archived all its set goals as a commercial entity and as charity platform that support and education and the less privilege, orphans in Nasarawa State.
“I’ve always believe in giving back to the society It’s a huge pleasure to champion the birth of polo here and use the proceeds to benefit the orphanages and education in Nasarawa State and I’ve been lucky my little efforts are yielding results,” Wadada declared.
“We are excited to welcome your prestigious teams to this fantastic tournament again and we have put everything in place for an exhilarating week of exciting and rewarding time in the ranch, while we raise funds to support the orphans and education across the state,” the former member of the House of Representatives added.
