The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of the Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Dr Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna, has said that the N9 billion Central Bank of Nigeria’s (CBN) interventions in the power sector in Kano will enhance power supply.
Dr Gwamna made the disclosure while interacting with journalists after he led the top management officers and journalists on inspection tour of feeder stations, transformers and other facilities provided by the apex bank.
He explained that the project includes the supply and construction of facilities to successfully enhance power delivery to the customers.
The managing director further said under the interventions, distribution and construction of transformer accessories were provided.
