The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) and Kano State Water Board have reached an agreement to collaborate towards upscaling the living standards of their customers.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KEDCO, Ahmed Dangana, revealed this yesterday after a meeting with the Managing Director/CEO, Kano State Water Board, Engr. Ahmad Garba Bichi.
Dangana, in a release by Bala Sani, the company’s Head of Corporate Communications, said the collaboration would be in the area of improved service delivery to enhance socio-economic wellbeing of the people of the state.
“We acknowledge the importance of unhindered water supply to the health and wellbeing of the people which is why we supply electricity to water board facilities through dedicated priority feeders, with quality and reliable power supply, unless there are grid issues beyond our control,” Dangana said.

On his part, the Water Board CEO, Garba, also stressed the need for a cordial relationship between both organisations as a panacea to engender improved standard of living for their customers.
