The Kano Electricity Distribution Company, KEDCO yesterday commenced free distribution of prepaid meters to consumers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa states.

KEDCO Chief Customer Relations Officer (CCR), Abubakar Yusuf said the Federal Government, along with 11 DisCos across the country will distribute six million prepaid meters to consumers in the country, at no cost.
He said that in Kano, 87,747 prepaid meters will be connected under the first phase tagged ‘zero phase’.
