Kebbi State government, on Wednesday, said it would commence the implementation of its e-governance plan in 2021.
Electronic governance or e-governance is the application of IT for delivering government services.

The state also said it has commenced training for commissioners, permanent secretaries and other public office holders on Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The Commissioner for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Abdullahi Magoro made this known yesterday during the opening of the training in Birnin Kebbi, the state’s capital.
He said the training would continue until all public officers and civil servants become ICT compliant.
According to him, the state governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, directed that all involved in the governance of the state must be IT-compliant.
“Kebbi State must align itself with the digital world if we must improve on our productivity not only in government businesses but also for enhancing the economic prosperity of the state, he said
