Kebbi Speaker, others resign

Others who resigned yesterday are the Majority leader, Aliyu Muhammad, Chief Whip and Deputy Chief Whip.
Jega confirmed the resignation exclusively to Daily Trust in Birnin Kebbi.
“We don’t want to say on what ground for now. But I want you to understand that we tendered our resignations today (yesterday) because of the injustice meted to us at our capacity as leaders of the assembly, especially at the last delegate conference.
“We felt since there is no justice in the PDP, we decided to switch to another party. That is just the reason,” he said.
Daily Trust gathered that Speaker and others are to be received by the All Progressive Party (APC) at a mega rally on Monday in Birnin Kebbi.
