The Chief Magistrate Court I judge, Samaila Kakale Mungadi, in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, has ordered that Kabir Hassan, 28, be remanded in police custody for the alleged rape of a 15-year-old girl.
The police prosecutor, Sergent Muntari Mati, told the court that the defendant lured his victim into uncompleted building in Kamba town of Wandi Local Government Area.

He said the defendant gave the sum of N200 to his victim after he forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

He said the offence is punishable under section 283 of the CPC law.
The case has been adjourned to July 2, for further mention.
