Following the recovery of the wreckage of the Kebbi-bound boat that broken into two before it capsized, another dead body has been recovered, raising the number to 98.
A resident of Warra town in Ngaski Local Government Area, where most of the dead hailed from, Suleman Bobo, told Daily Trust that after the broken wreckage was recovered, one dead body that was under the boat in the last nine days was found.
Bobo said the recovered wreckage was the longest part of the boat and that search mission was still ongoing with a view to recovering more dead bodies as well as the other half of the boat wreckage.
