Former Head Coach of Abia Warriors, Abdullahi Usman Biffo was yesterday unveiled as the new Technical Adviser of Katsina United Football Club. Biffo signed a two year contract with the team.  

Also, unveiled was Bishir Sadauki as the Chief Coach of the club.

Unveiling the new coach yesterday, the state governor Aminu Masari charged him to improve on the position of the team as his performance will be judged by the position the team is placed at the end next season.

He said, government is ready to support the new coaching crew ahead of the new Nigeria Professional Football League.

The chairman of the club, Aminu Balele Kurfi said the new coach was carefully chosen based on his excellent performances and experience in the league and assured of management readiness to support to move the team to greater heights.

In his remarks, the new Technical Adviser, Biffo promised to use his vast experience to transform the team, and called for collaborative assistance from all and sundry towards repositioning the team.

“I will work hard to make them one of the best in the country. I like success, I leave my marks everywhere I work, want to implore all for advice, I run an open door to see how we can move the team forward.”

“I’m not only a coach but an educator to try my best to make sure we go to grassroots, football is business not family affairs. No godfatherism in my team”.

I like to work with young players. My target is to do my best and make it one of the best in Nigeria,” he said.
