The chairman of Katsina State Football Association and member of the NFF technical Committee, Aminu Balele Kurfi on Thursday splashed a whopping N750,000 on the Flying Eagles who are presently camping in Abuja.
He made the donation to the team immediately after their 4-2 victory over Nasarawa United in a friendly match played at the FIFA Goal Project pitch.

The football administrator motivated the players with the sum of N500,000 and handed out the sum of N250,000 to the backroom staff.
Kurfi who went further to make a pledge of N15m, if the Flying Eagles would qualify for the 2021 AFCON charged the players to remain focused on the task ahead.
He said there are no more minnows in football so the junior Eagles must always avoid complacency.
“I attach a lot of importance to this team that is why I am here to give them my own support. There is every need for all of us to continue to support our national teams.
“It is my pleasure to give the players N500,000 and the backroom staff N250,000. This is not all. I will be happy to support the team with N15m if they can pick the 2021 AFCON ticket,” he said.
