The Emir of Katsina, Alh. Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, on Saturday turbaned seven new district heads in an elaborate ceremony attended by prominent personalities from all walks of life.

Those turbaned include Sarkin Musawan Katsina, Alh. Sagir Abdullahi Inde; Sarkin Yakin Katsina, Alh Bello Mamman Iffo; Matawallen Katsina, Retired Colonel Abdulaziz Musa Yaradua and Deputy Commandant General Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Aminu Abdullah turbanned as Barayan Katsina.

Others include Member, House of Representatives representing Mani and Bindawa, Aminu Ashiru Mani, turbaned as Dokajin Katsina; Haruna Dalhatu as Sarkin Zango; Deputy Commissioner of Police, Suleiman Isah Ketare, who was turbaned as Garkuwan Dokan Katsina while Aminu Umar Sheme was turbaned as Wazirin Zangunan Katsina.

The ceremony which took place at the premises of the emir’s palace attracted personalities like Katsina State governor, Aminu Bello Masari and his Bauchi counterpart, Senator Bala Muhammad, Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, as well as the Speaker House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
