The remains of Alhaji Garba Lado Danmarke, a top Katsina businessman and politician, was on Thursday laid to rest at Danmarke burial ground after a funeral prayer held at his country home, Danmarke in Kankara LGA of Katsina state.
Aged 78 years, Danmarke died on Wednesday evening at a private hospital in Kaduna after a protracted illness.
Ustaz Abdulbasir Unguwar Maikawo prayed for the repose of his soul in Aljannatul Firdaus and prayed that God should grant the family and the people of Katsina State the fortitude to bear the loss.

He is survived by many children and grand children, including the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 governorship election in Katsina, Senator Yakubu Lado Danmarke.
