‘Katsina APC disciplinary c’ttee out for witch-hunt’

Aruwa is one of the two party LG chairmen to appear before the committee to answer alleged violation of party directives with regards to visiting aspirants. The other is that of Safana Local Government, Ahmed Maigoro.
Speaking to Daily Trust in a telephone interview, Aruwa said the recent development in the APC has gone to show that the leadership of the party is taking sides over its gubernatorial aspirants as he sees no reason why his visit to Senator Kanti Bello who happens to be his blood brother should be politicized.
He said if this is the only reason that he is found wanting by the party, they shouldn’t have wasted their time in constituting a committee to investigate him as it amounted to a waste of time and a fruitless effort.
