Katsina 2019: Again, Nashuni picks PDP guber form

Katsina state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in 2015 general election, Engr Musa Nashuni is again seeking the party’s nomination to re-contest the governorship seat in the 2019 polls.

Nashuni has already purchased the party’s nomination and expression of interest forms ahead of the party’s primaries.

Daily Trust reports that Nashuni was the party’s flag bearer at the last General election were he lost to the incunbent governor Aminu Masari of the APC.

Nashuni in a notification messages issued to friends, family and supporters said “he’s ready to contest for the same office in 2019.”

It will be recalled that Nashuni was a former Commissioner for Resource Development and a close ally of former governor Ibrahim Shema.
