KASUPDA demolishes 80 shops in Kaduna

Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Agency (KASUPDA) has demolished 80 shops along Liberia road at Malali in the state.

The spokesperson of the agency, Nuhu Garba, told DailyTrust that the shops were demolished because they were built on setback along the road.

In land use, setback according to Wikipedia is the minimum distance which a building or other structure must be set back from a street or road, a river or other stream, a shore or flood plain, or any other place which is deemed to need protection.
