Vice Chancellor of Kaduna State University (KASU) Professor Muhammad Tanko has said the university has zero tolerance for sex for grades crimes.
Professor Tanko, represented by his deputy, Professor Abdullahi Ashafa, stated this at the 60th National Conference of the Association of Nigerian Geographers with theme ‘Geography and Disaster Management’ in Kaduna.
He said the university doesn’t tolerate sex for grades behavior and that the institution has measures in place to deal with any lecturer or staff reported to have engaged in such acts.
“The sex for grades issue is of great concern to all of us as academics and managers of institutions.”
What we are trying to show to the world is that Kaduna State University has zero tolerance for such kind of thing.
”We have deterrent measures because there are laws guiding engagement with the female students who are mostly victims,” he said
