More so mega brands cut ties with the rapper now known as Ye. For instance, his long-time partnership with Adidas which made him a billionaire was cut due to the anti-Semitic comment.

“Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness,” the fashion giant wrote.

His severed ties with Adidas removes him from the billionaire status. More so, Bank JP Morgan and clothing retailer, Gap, also ended their relationship with Ye; while, a popular retail shoe store in the USA, Foot Locker, ordered its staff that all Kanye West shoes should be removed from its stores.
