The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero and his counterpart from Zazzau Emirate, Malam Nuhu Bamali, yesterday offered a special prayer for the military high command over its resolve to kill all adversaries terrorising the North West zone of the country where they hail from.
The duo, who offered the special prayer on Friday evening at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja during their visit to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, said they were seeing the impact of the military in the zone.
Daily Trust Saturday reports that the monarchs’ visit was coming days after dozens of bandits, while on an attack mission, were killed by the Nigerian Air Force airstrikes around the Sangeko community of Kwiambama ward in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
Speaking during the visit, Malam Bamali said he was happy with the ongoing operations being carried by the Armed Forces of Nigeria, praying that the military shall continue to record more successes against enemies in all its operations.
