Kano: Woman killed, 2 children injured in building collapse

A 35-year-old woman, Balaraba Tijjani, has been reported killed and two of her children, Abdulnasir (11) and Abdallah (13), injured after their house collapsed following a downpour in the Makwarari area of Kano metropolis in Kano State.

The spokesman of the Kano State Fire Service, Saminu Yusif Abdullahi, who disclosed this, said, “We received an emergency call on Friday at 9:30am. We dispatched firemen to the scene. The victims were rescued and taken to the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital.”
