Kano Polo Club chairman Alhaji Bashir Dantata has held out the promise of unprecedented added value from the forthcoming Kano International Polo tournament scheduled to thrill from September 14-25, 2022 at the Usman Dantata Polo Ground in Bompai, Kano.
The chairman, who was unanimously returned for another term at the just concluded Annual General Meeting of the club, assured that the club is working tirelessly to dominate all aspects of the tournament in order to provide a most rewarding experience for teams, players, sponsors and guests.

Alhaji Dantata also expressed visible delight that the rains did come timely to condition the now lush, soft ground that is ideal for the ponies. Already the Kano Polo Club is undergoing intense facelift with stables being refurbished and the general environment spruced up.
“We are pushing for the optimal every which way because we intend to restore Kano polo’s pre-eminent pedigree.” The Chairman is the longest serving Chairman of the club, pointed out.
Polo Royals cam also report that the grooms are hard at work exercising the ponies and priming them in readiness for tournament action, while foals, still too young for polo battles can be seen capering in the paddocks and on the main pitch.
Tournament Manager, Bashir Dantata also pledged to deliver a compact tournament that would be the pride of every polo player, adding that the event would serve as the template that would take the King of games in Kano to the next level.
