The Kano State government says it plans to upgrade facilities at the Hisbah board headquarters to provide a conducive atmosphere for the actualisation of its mandate.
Gov. Abba Kabir-Yusuf said this when he paid an unscheduled visit to the board’s headquarters in Kano on Monday.
He said the visit was to access the state of the structures and facilities at the headquarters for upgrading.
”Most of the structures and materials are dilapidated and this is a major setback to the board activities,’’ he said.
