The Kano State Government has confirmed the death of a coronavirus patient in the state.

As at Wednesday night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) recorded 16 confirmed cases for the state but the state’s Commissioner for Health, Dr Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, said it is now 21.
Kano is the most populated state in Nigeria, according to the census conducted in 2006.
It will be recalled that the index case of COVID-19 was confirmed in the state on Saturday.
