The Kano State governorship candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), Salihu Tanko Yakasai, has unveiled his manifesto with a six-key agenda that targets seven sectors of the economy.
Yakasai, who presented the manifesto at the weekend in Kano, said he planned to build Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in building sustainable infrastructure for the state.

He said that his administration would focus on key thematic areas to revive the state’s economy, adding that other key areas of his administration included healthcare, education, infrastructure, environment and public service reforms.
The PRP candidate further said that the manifesto would accelerate economic growth that would benefit the citizens and tackle poverty in the state.
He said, “In the past, our dear state of Kano was leading in all human endeavours, with many functional factories and booming businesses. Our commercial activities were at their peak.”
