Little lost the 2003 All Peoples Party ticket to Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, who became the governor of the state that year and also contested on the platform of Peoples Redemption Party the same year and lost.
The PDP chairman in Kano, Shehu Wada Sagagi, confirmed to Daily Trust, that Little had entered the governorship race, adding that he is eligible to contest for the office.
Sagagi said, “Everyone knows that Little is equal to the task and he’s a dogged politician who believes in active partisan politics. There’s no problem with that.”
