Kano police record 391 deaths from road accidents in 2021

The Kano State Police Command, under the Motor Traffic Department (MTD), said it recorded a total number of 391 deaths from 275 road accidents that occurred from January to date in the outgoing year.

 Also, in the year 2021, the command said that 522 persons were injured and properties worth millions of Naira were lost as a result of road accidents.

 This was disclosed by the Officer in Charge of MTD Kano Command, SP Magaji Musa Majiya, during a stakeholders’ interaction held at the Central Motor Traffic Department.
